Can you imagine your life without fear? Envision just one day, where you could trust more and fear less. What if faith, not fear, dread, worry, doubt, or insecurity was your default reaction to fearful circumstances? Jesus didn’t want us to live fearfully; he often reminded us to “Fear not.”
Come and learn new tools to help manage life’s challenges and a learn about God’s promises so you can fear less tomorrow than you do today. Footprints Counseling LLC is starting a group study on the Max Lucado book "Fearless" in the Parish Center at the Cathedral of St. Jude, 5815 5th Avenue North, Saint Petersburg, Florida 33710 starting Tues. Oct. 1st, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and running for seven consecutive weeks.
You must pre-register no later than SEPT. 18th, 2019 by calling/texting Debra Kraus, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, at 727-458-1080. There is a $25 fee to join this class to cover study materials.

I attended the 3rd annual International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) conference this weekend and am excited to hear about the incredible outcomes therapists including myself are getting with our clients using this intervention with them. The studies are showing exciting and promising results of using ART with clients experiencing trauma/ (PTSD) issues but the conference also highlighted how ART is being used with a wide variety of problems such as dyslexia, OCD, grief/loss and even motion sickness! I had the delight of being trained first-hand by the ART's creator, Laney Rosenzweig, LMHC and was lucky to get my picture taken with her and Dr. Kevin E. Kip, Distinguished Health Professor and Epidemiologist at the University of South Florida; he is the leading researcher worldwide in the study of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an emerging, brief, and evidence-based method of psychotherapy for treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related comorbidities.
