Today we brought a little taste of the fair to our residents! We made homemade funnel cakes, and everyone absolutely loved them. From powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar to raspberry, caramel, and chocolate drizzle—some residents even tried all three! They couldn’t stop raving about how delicious they were, calling them the best funnel cakes they’ve ever had. Everyone had a wonderful time and is already looking forward to the next cooking class!

Today we enjoyed a beach barbecue at Maximo Beach and Park! We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, along with chips and fresh fruit. Our residents had a wonderful time relaxing by the water, watching boats pass by and people walking their dogs. With a nice breeze and beautiful weather, it was the perfect day filled with fun, laughter, and great company.

The residents truly enjoyed our Easter egg hunt! It brought so many smiles to their faces as they searched for plastic eggs filled with candy, Wentworth Bucks for the country store, and even a few real hard-boiled eggs.
This special activity made everyone feel like kids again — laughing, having fun, and sharing joyful moments with their friends. It was a wonderful day filled with happiness and great memories.

Today we spent time preparing for our big Easter egg hunt tomorrow! The residents had so much fun stuffing plastic eggs with candy and Wentworth Bucks, and also coloring eggs for the special day.
Everyone is getting excited and looking forward to heading out to the courtyard for the big hunt. It’s wonderful to see the joy and anticipation building — tomorrow is going to be a great day!

Today we completed another round of heart-healthy walking around Wentworth Central Avenue’s building. We’re excited to see more and more residents joining in each time! With a little encouragement and positive words, many are now participating and walking with us around the building.
Everyone benefits from a little movement and exercise for the heart, and it’s wonderful to see the residents staying active together and enjoying it as a group activity.
