Meet our Healing Hands Pet of the month! This months star stole our hearts with her adorable personality and sweet spirit. She’s never met a stranger. Everyone is her friend. But lizards are another story. They hate to see her coming. Her weekly stare downs with our resident cats always makes us laugh. Everybody show some love to sweet Buggy for being our March Pet of the month

☀️ Warmer Weather Is Back! — Let’s Keep Our Pets Safe! 🐾

As temperatures start to rise, our furry friends are at greater risk for overheating. Pets can get heat exhaustion much faster than we realize, so a few simple precautions can make a big difference.

✔️ Always provide plenty of fresh water
✔️ Make sure pets have access to shade when outside
✔️ Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day
✔️ Check pavement with your hand — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws
✔️ Never leave pets in a parked car

If your pet is showing signs of overheating such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting, please contact your veterinarian right away.

If you’ve been to our clinic, especially on a Tuesday or a Friday, you know this special boy right here. Red started coming to us last year and has stolen all of our hearts. Although he is paralyzed, that doesn’t stop his goofy antics and getting into anything especially involving food. At home, he loves chewing up his lamb toys and when it’s warm out swimming in the pool with his dad. Everybody show some love to our January pet of the month Red.

Cold snaps may be short, but they can still be uncomfortable and unsafe for our pets, especially those outdoors. Let’s keep our furry family members cozy by providing warm, bedding and blankets, limiting outdoor time during super chilly mornings and evenings. Watching for signs of cold like shivering, curling up and seeking more. Making sure senior pets puppies, kittens, and small breeds. Stay extra warm.

🐾❤️ LOOKING FOR A HERO! ❤️🐾

Meet our shy but oh-so-sweet 7-month-old Pitbull mix in search of a loving forever home with someone who has a big heart and a bit of patience. He needs a partner to help him discover the joys of being a dog. He loves other dogs and seems to have no problems with cats. Very gentle with kids as well.
He’s become the clinics emotional support pup but he deserves his own home and family to grow with💙
