Ten years ago I was one of her students. Last week I was invited back as a guest speaker. Some things really do come full circle. Ashlee was one of my teachers in massage school, and getting to stand in front of her current students and talk about clinical bodywork, building a practice, and staying connected to why you started... that meant so much more than I knew it would going in.
To the students in that room: you're in good hands. Literally and figuratively.
I'm so grateful for the teachers who stay invested in this profession.
