Do you forget to take your daily PrEP?
Here are five tips to help you create a routine that works!!

1) set up a phone alarm. If you set a phone alarm it can help you remember to take your medications every day at the same time.

2) Use one of several apps that exist to help specifically with adherence. Our smarty phones are incredible tools and there are many apps out there that can help you keep track of your medications, health, and routines.

3) pair your pill with another daily routine, such as brushing your teeth. This is an easy way to add medication to your existing daily routines.

4) Make a plan to take the pill at the same time every day. Taking it at the same time every day can make it easier to remember.

5)Use a pill box. When you organize your medications you can keep track of if you’ve taken it or not.

HIV stigma and discrimination affects the emotional well-being and mental health of people living with HIV. People living with HIV often internalize the stigma they experience and begin to develop a negative self-image. They may fear they will be discriminated against or judged negatively if their HIV status is revealed.

We can all help end HIV stigma through our words and actions in our everyday lives. Talking openly about HIV can help normalize the subject. It also provides opportunities to correct misconceptions and help others learn more about HIV.

Remember that anyone can get HIV!
