We are so proud of our Neonatal Perinatal Medicine fellowship Associate Program Director Dr. Aaron Germain! He was recently named the Johns Hopkins Medicine 2025 Dr. William A. Baumgartner Physician of the Year. Thank you for all that you do, caring for patients, sharing your clinical skills, leading simulation exercises, and mentoring NPM fellows 🩺

And a congratulations to Dr. Stacey Stone, Neonatologist, who was recently awarded the 2025 Johns Hopkins Medicine Excellence in Service and Professionalism Award. Dr. Stone serves as the Director for the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Rotation for Neonatal Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program!

We loved welcoming future healthcare professionals to the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital campus to explore our programs, meet our teams, and experience what makes our training so special.

From Rehabilitation and Physician Residencies & Fellowships to our Pediatric RN Residency and Acute Care APP Fellowship, it was an inspiring day all around.

Last week, our PGY2s paused to listen, learn, and reflect! 💛

They spent time learning from nursing, respiratory therapy, child life, social work, public safety, families, and our Teen Advisory Council, gaining new perspective and appreciation for the community that surrounds every patient.

PAUSE. Patient Allies Uniting and Sharing Experiences 🫶

We ended the week with painting, a quiet reminder to reflect on their journey and reconnect with the purpose that brought them to medicine. 🎨🤍
