Summer Swap at The BE is going strong! We're adding stuff all week so keep bringing in your goods and keep walking out of here with stuff new-to-you. It's like shopping, but FREE. It's like shoplifting, but LEGAL.

Last night's Girls Rock St Pete concert at Jannus was incredible! The kids ROCKED. The BE is a proud sponsor of because we share the same values. When people are confident, connected, and care about their community, the world is a better place. We have work to do, and last night was a reminder that a lot of good is happening. Let's keep making space for ALL voices to be heard, and for kids (and grown-ups) to be weird!

Every month The BE partners with a local non-profit that's making a difference in our community. At our monthly (first Wednesdays) yoga class at St. Pete Pier, we raise awareness and funds for these hard-working, big-hearted folks. And sometimes people find a meaningful volunteer opportunity they never knew about before. Here's a partial list of organizations we've supported in the last couple of years. Thanks everyone for your generosity of time, attention, and donations. Hope to see you out at the Pier August 6 for !

WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
Wednesday, July 16: Flight Club - Headstand and Pincha Mayurasana. In a small group setting, Dillon will help you get into forearm balance and headstand. Just $10 for members.

Saturday, July 19: Girls Rock St. Pete rock show at Jannus Landing! This is THE BEST show for kids (and for everyone) of the year.

Sunday, July 27: 108 Summer Sun Salutations. Led by Jess Mihm, the annual ritual will take place indoors at The BE.

Wednesday, August 6: FREE Sunset Yoga at St. Pete Pier. 7pm, with Jamie Morgan.

Sunday, August 10: Yoga + Pickle! Katelyn leads yoga and then we pickle, at Pickle & Pint! 🥒

The BE is now a Tampa Period Pantry location! If you bleed, you've needed a tampon now and then. Did you know that 4 out of ten low-income menstruators have missed school or work because they didn't have period supplies? TPP is a local, all-volunteer effort to remove menstrual stigma and get pads, cups, and tampons to those who need them, no questions asked. Want to contribute? Drop supplies here anytime. ♥️🩸

The Body Electric Yoga Company was founded in 2013 with the goal of bringing good yoga to the people. We are an inclusive and outward-looking community that is non-intimidating and non-dogmatic in our approaches and philosophies. The BE offers supportive and professional instruction and coaching, drawing from many modes and lineages. We believe in the personal and cultural benefits of yoga practices and mindful physical fitness. We provide high-quality yoga and mindful fitness classes to the people of Tampa Bay, in our beautiful facilities and also online.
