Pain Management Through Massage Therapy
Many people think massage is simply for relaxation. While relaxation is certainly a benefit, therapeutic massage can also play an important role in pain management.
Clients often come in experiencing issues such as:
• chronic neck and shoulder tension
• low back discomfort
• headaches
• jaw clenching
• muscular restriction from daily activities or work posture
During a session, I focus on identifying areas of soft tissue restriction and muscular tension and apply techniques appropriate to each individual client.
The goal is not just temporary relief, but helping improve:
• range of motion
• comfort
• functional mobility
• overall quality of movement
Every body is different, which is why each session is tailored to the client's needs.
Massage therapy is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but it can be an effective way to support pain management and physical wellbeing.
