Interdisciplinary therapy can make the WORLD of a difference for our kids! Keep reading to learn why:

Meet Zaire! He is almost 5 years old and primarily uses a dedicated AAC device to communicate, as he is not yet able to effectively express himself verbally.

Zaire started at BYC in 2023 for speech and OT, and was making gradual progress. 6 months ago, Zaire also began ABA services that see him both in clinic and at school.

Zaire’s ABA team worked closely with Zaire’s ST and OT therapists in order to carry over sensory regulation techniques and use his AAC device both in school with him and in therapy. This means Zaire gets LOTS more guided practice in multiple settings!

By supporting all of Zaire’s needs, we have been able to make real change! We are SO proud of you, Zaire!
