We believe that mindfulness practices including Yoga and Meditation have the power to create profound positive transformations in our body, mind, and life. It’s our passion to bring uncompromising, authentic instruction to the community; helping our students learn how to use these practices as tools for creating balance and well-being in their own lives. The studio was founded over 30 years ago by Chris Acosta, and has grown from a one-instructor studio to one of the area’s largest and most trusted centers for Yoga & Wellness. Addressing Individual Needs
Our instructors are trained in many different styles of Yoga, but our studio is much less concerned with the particular “style” of Yoga as we are with addressing the individual needs of the person in front of us. Our studio specializes in helping students discover what the best practices are for their unique body/brain/life, because we know that Yoga is not one-size-fits-all. This is something we see missing from much of the way modern Yoga is taught, and find that without this important consideration, seemingly helpful practices in Yoga can actually be harmful and imbalancing. It’s our aim to use this understanding to help our students get the most out of Yoga, while avoiding the risks!
