Chase the Dreidel 5K Join us to Chase the Dreidel down the streets of St. Pete, FL on December 13, 2026! Potato pancake latke dinner is included! All are welcome! Oy vey! Not running?

Come find out on Sunday, December 11 at 4 pm as our life-sized dreidel spins down the streets of St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Trail on a flat, chip-timed course. Chase the Dreidel is pure fun – everyone is welcome! Registrants receive a race shirt and a super potato pancake latke buffet. Walkers and strollers welcome. Fun run for youngsters under 11. Buy a food-only wristband at the race for just $5 • No RSVP required! Chase the Dreidel also offers a virtual 5K option. Just lace up anywhere and still receive the race t-shirt! Chase the Dreidel 5K is TODAY, Sunday, December 7 at 4pm! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re so excited to see you on the course. The race goes on rain or shine, and if there’s lightning, we’ll pause until it’s safe. ⛈️

No matter the weather, the indoor latke party is on, complete with cotton candy, Bamba, and plenty of swag. 🎉🥔
Your full race-day timeline is below. Let’s make it a great afternoon! 🙌



2:30 PM
Check-in and bib/swag bag pickup opens at Congregation B’nai Israel, 300 58th St North.
There is no early packet pickup.
Follow signs to free parking behind the building at 59th Street North and 4th Avenue North.

3:00 PM
Supervised bounce house opens.
On-site registration available for $55 until the race begins. Spread the word!

4:00 PM
Welcoming ceremony begins outdoors in front of Congregation B’nai Israel.

4:05 PM
Fun Run for kids under age ten. Prize for all participants!

4:15 PM
Race begins.
Starting line: intersection of 4th Ave North and 59th St North.
Finish line: in front of the synagogue.
Rain or shine; delay only for lightning.

4:45 PM
Latke party and awards presentation inside the synagogue social hall.
Food-only wristbands available on site for $10.

The 11th Annual Chase the Dreidel 5K is TOMORROW, Sunday, December 7 at 4pm! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The race will be terrific, rain or shine. ⛈️🌤️ In case of lightning, we'll delay the start. ⚡

And no matter the weather, the latke party is held indoors, complete with cotton candy and lots of race swag -- Bamba, Rays hats, and more.
