🎓This morning we are proudly sending Carl on his way!

Carl came in with determination, a great sense of humor, and maybe a little skepticism about those early-morning therapy sessions… but he’s leaving stronger, faster, and ready to take on the world (or at least the laundry).

We’ll miss the laughter, the stories, and the daily reminders that snacks are the real key to recovery.

Congrats, Carl! You’ve officially earned your degree in “Getting Back on Your Feet 101.”

Don’t forget to visit — we promise not to make you do any more exercises… well… maybe.

Today the SRNC went a little… barnyard chic🦆🐰

The chickens and ducks strutted down the halls like they owned the place (one tried to check in at the front desk), while the bunnies set up camp under the dining tables like undercover agents of fluff.

The residents loved it—though now we’re not entirely sure if the laughter was from petting the animals or from the chicken who tried to sneak into bingo.

Verdict: 10/10, highly recommend letting chickens, bunnies, and ducks run your activities program!

We spent a sunny afternoon with The Jeffers, enjoying a captivating magic show, striking poses in a fun photo shoot, getting temporary tattoos and crafting sandcastles by the shore. What better way to wrap up the week?

Brenda's retirement marks the end of an era, as she has dedicated 27 remarkable years to our facility. Her unwavering commitment and compassion have left an indelible mark on both staff and residents.

As we gathered to celebrate her retirement, it was evident just how much she meant to all of us. Tears were shed, laughter was shared, and heartfelt stories were exchanged, each one a testament to the profound impact Brenda has made in our lives.

Brenda was not just a colleague; she was the first friendly face that greeted everyone who walked through our doors. Her warm smile and kind words created a welcoming atmosphere that made our facility feel like home.

While we are excited for her new adventures, we will deeply miss her presence. Brenda, thank you for your years of dedication, love, and support. You have truly made a difference, and your legacy will live on in the hearts of all those you touched. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!

Once a month, our Dietary Director and her staff hosts a special Resident Choice Day! During our monthly meetings, we brainstorm ideas for meals that aren’t on our regular menu, and our residents have come up with some fantastic suggestions over the past few months.

This month, they chose to have a Chinese Takeout Day, and our dietary team did an amazing job delivering on their requests! The residents absolutely LOVED it!
