We spent a sunny afternoon with The Jeffers, enjoying a captivating magic show, striking poses in a fun photo shoot, getting temporary tattoos and crafting sandcastles by the shore. What better way to wrap up the week?

Brenda's retirement marks the end of an era, as she has dedicated 27 remarkable years to our facility. Her unwavering commitment and compassion have left an indelible mark on both staff and residents.

As we gathered to celebrate her retirement, it was evident just how much she meant to all of us. Tears were shed, laughter was shared, and heartfelt stories were exchanged, each one a testament to the profound impact Brenda has made in our lives.

Brenda was not just a colleague; she was the first friendly face that greeted everyone who walked through our doors. Her warm smile and kind words created a welcoming atmosphere that made our facility feel like home.

While we are excited for her new adventures, we will deeply miss her presence. Brenda, thank you for your years of dedication, love, and support. You have truly made a difference, and your legacy will live on in the hearts of all those you touched. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!

Once a month, our Dietary Director and her staff hosts a special Resident Choice Day! During our monthly meetings, we brainstorm ideas for meals that aren’t on our regular menu, and our residents have come up with some fantastic suggestions over the past few months.

This month, they chose to have a Chinese Takeout Day, and our dietary team did an amazing job delivering on their requests! The residents absolutely LOVED it!

We can’t wait to share with you on what they chose for next month! Any guesses on what it might be? Let us know in the comments! 🍽️✨

🎆🇺🇸 **Celebrating the Fourth of July at Salamanca Rehab and Nursing Center!** 🇺🇸🎆

Today, we came together to celebrate Independence Day in style! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch provided by our amazing dietary department, featuring delicious snacks prepared by our dedicated activities team. It was a feast fit for a celebration!

Our staff also got in on the fun with a delightful grilled lunch, lovingly prepared by our admissions director and administrator. The camaraderie and teamwork were palpable as everyone shared in the festivities.

To top off the day, we engaged in one of our residents' favorite activities—our exciting water war! Laughter and joy filled the air as we made unforgettable memories together.

On days like today, we cherish the opportunity to come together as a team and make every holiday extra special for our residents.
