Nice Work!!
Update from Your Oregon Firefighters in Southern California
During their first 24-hour shift on Friday, one of the Marion County strike teams made a significant impact by helping save a home. A California OES Type 6 engine was flagged down by police about a possible attic fire. They quickly shared the information over the radio, and Salem Engine 15—being the closest unit—immediately sprang into action.
Together, they pulled a hose line and exposed the fire by opening an interior wall. Thanks to their quick response and teamwork, the fire was extinguished swiftly, preventing further damage and saving the home.
Our firefighters continue to prove they are the best of the best, working as one team to support those affected by these devastating wildfires. 💪🔥
