Patient success story: John Markham

John came to us with back and neck pain. Initially, he was unable to walk to his mailbox due to severe pain when he was used to walking 2 miles daily. Now he is doing advanced exercises like in the picture below and able to return to his daily walks. Here is what he had to say about his experience.

"I'm 81 years old and have suffered from low back pain for the last ten years or so. When walking, I would have to stop every few yards because of back pain. Chiropractors have helped but the pain never really went away. My doctor referred me to Livingston County hospital for therapy with Lauren Turner. We did several exercises over a period of 4 weeks to strengthen the muscles in my lower back and Lauren gave me some exercises to do at home. We completed the therapy and now I am pain free for the first time in a long time! Thank you Lauren!"

Meet Madison:

Madison graduated from the University’s of Evansville with degrees for Physical Therapy Assistant and Exercise Science. She has been married for 3.5 years to her high school sweetheart and together they have a sweet 8 both old baby. She likes to bow fish, hunt, garden, and has her own chickens.

We are so happy to have Madison as part of our team!
