Congratulations to the beautiful Hawthorne Hotel of Salem on its 100th Anniversary. Brookhouse Home's own Kate Hann (at left) attended the event last evening which included a block party on Hawthorne Blvd., a classic car show, street vendors and food trucks, and a special photo re-enactment of its 1925 opening day. Looking great Kate and friends! And a tip of the hat to the entire staff at the hotel for all your hard work through the many years. Photo credit by John Andrews Photography.

It was great to host a lunch today to thank the many elder care services, case workers and social workers in our region. Our guests including, among others, staff from AgeSpan, Greater Lynn Senior Services (GLSS), SeniorCare, Beverly and Salem Housing, and the Swampscott, Salem, Lynn and Marblehead Councils on Aging. You all do so much for seniors everyday! Thank you Chef Dennis for the great lunch! Photos by Laurie Fullerton
