My journey to this work began in the 1990’s as a Reiki practitioner and continued while doing my own healing from severe back pain. I was led to a wonderful healer who developed Meridian Massage. I love sharing Meridian Massage and Reiki with others. I consider this work to be a part of my life purpose. Meridian Massage is a unique form of massage using the same energy lines used in Meridian Acupu

ncture. The technique was developed by a 80+ year old practitioner who studied under a master in Hong Kong. It is based on enhancing the flow of life force energy. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation to promote healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
