Meet Tiffany!! She’s joining the schedule and is one of our spring 200 hour YTT graduates!
Hello friends,
I am excited to share my story.
Movement has been part of my life since my teens—running, lifting, Pilates, CrossFit—but it was yoga, and especially the community at Unity, that cracked me open and inspired me to finally pursue my teaching license. With a PhD in Physical Education, I’ve spent my career as an educator, and now I get to bring that same passion for growth and learning into a practice that has transformed me from the inside out.
Yoga has always had a place in my life, but over the past two years it has become my everything—well, everything besides my family. In fact, yoga brought me back to my family. It
opened my mind to this moment, the one happening right now. The clarity and strength it has given me is why I practice. It taught me to trust myself and helped me reconnect with the things that make me smile.
When I’m not in the studio or doing my day job, I’m running a full-time parenting ride service— with the love and support of my boyfriend. Together, Paul and I are one shy of the Brady Bunch. Our crew ranges from 12 to 23, with three girls in the middle at 15, 17, and almost 19, anchored by the boys on either end. I can’t believe my oldest daughter is getting ready to head to college next year. I’m terrified— and beyond proud. My middle daughter is a sophomore at Pinkerton and loving her new role as JV cheer captain. My youngest is in seventh grade and plays lacrosse year-round, thanks to Paul, who first introduced him to the sport his son used to play. I am all their biggest fans and have all the t-shirts to prove it.
Lastly, I love to read and do my best to keep up with the books my adolescent daughters are into. It gives us a way to connect—and I genuinely enjoy the stories myself. I even introduced
one book to my whole family, and everyone read it, including my mother. So, I guess my fun fact is that I have read every book written by Nancy Drew, Colleen Hoover, Nora Roberts, JD Robb, and about 5 other authors I can’t remember because it was in my college years.
