Hello Vital Spirit Community: I am sad and sorry to announce that I will be closing my clinic until the Shelter in Place is lifted. I simply do not have the proper PPE (personal protective equipment) to keep myself and my patients safe during visits. I am of course still taking phone calls, and am transitioning to video chat style telemedicine as soon as I can. Essential Oils are potent medicines extracted from herbs that can help promote vibrant health and enhance immunity. They are great at keeping microorganisms at bay- they also have unique and fabulous scents which are uplifting and nourishing to the soul! My top oils to consider in enhancing immunity and in prevention of illness are Clove, Cinnamon and Oregano, other great oils are Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Pine and Thyme. Here are a few do-it-yourself tips to incorporate these fantastic oils into your daily health regimen:

*You can create a simple "essential oil diffuser" by adding a few drops of oil to a pot of boiling water. Make sure to turn off the burner, and then allow for the scented, medicinal steam to fill your home! This is a highly effective way to cleanse the air, and what better time than now, when we are all spending increased time indoors.
*Dilute essential oils in a carrier oil to make an antimicrobial body oil: Add 1-2 drops Lavender or Frankincense essential oil to 1 oz. Sweet Almond oil, mix vigorously and smooth on hands, arms or face. Be sure to do a test spot (apply a dime sized portion of oil on your arm, for example) before doing a full application, and avoid applying near eyes or other sensitive areas. When making oils to apply on your body, make sure to use organic oils :)
