A client recently wrote: “My joints, especially my feet, knees, and hips, have noticeably improved with Zero Balancing. My weight hasn’t changed, nor am I exercising any differently, yet my joints feel more stable, more flexible and more reliable than they’ve been for years.” Ellen M.

I offer Zero Balancing sessions and classes in Salem, MA. ZB allows us to reduce pain, feel new connections, stand taller, discover inner resources, shed limiting ideas about ourselves, explore our potential, feel lighter and freer and more alive. I found ZB in 2002 and a 30-minute session with Jim McCormick felt like it switched many things that were off in me to ON. The founder of ZB, Fritz Smith, MD - whom I met in 2004 and studied with until his death last May, was one of the most gifted, generous, kind and steady teachers I have ever met.
I'll be teaching a Zero Balancing I class March 6-9 in Salem. Details are here and I'm happy to chat or introduce you to this work.

Zero Balancing is a system of bodywork for wellness and personal transformation.

Zero Balancing teaches a form of skilled, conscious touch to the deepest part of us, our bones. It was first described by founder Dr. Fritz Smith as a structural acupressure system of healing. Over the past 50 years, as an understanding of the healing potential of ZB has deepened, with many thousands of people around the world across all age groups receiving sessions, Zero Balancing has been shown again and again to serve as a profound tool in support of wellness and personal transformation.
***

"With ZB we have the opportunity to introduce a person to a deeper level of who they are.”
-Fritz Smith, MD

Why I love Zero Balancing. Holding and healing without judgment or comparison.

"If you can balance something to neutral without judgment or comparison by holding it in its own space, it will naturally move to its highest possible benefit."
