Oregon knows a thing or two about iconic duos: The Goonies and the Oregon Coast, the Ducks and the Beavers, Subarus and pets, just to name a few. Outbacks, Foresters, and Crosstreks are all common sights in any PNW parking lot whether it’s the home improvement store, trail head, or dog park.
Like man’s best friend, Subaru drivers are a loyal bunch and love staying active; many proudly display a customized badge with how many Subarus they’ve owned in their lifetime, hobbies, and passions like paw prints, milage accomplishments, and recreation activities. Which makes sense when Subaru’s slogan is: “Love. It’s what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.”
That love is on full display at on the Parkway in Salem. Capitol Subaru makes the car buying process easy, free of traditional “car buying” pressure with an in-depth knowledge of the Subraru brand. Capitol Subraru treats its guests to a customer lounge chock full of amenities like pancakes in the morning, a children’s activity room, and “living room” like seating paired with gas fireplaces and a flatscreen TV. The Salem Subaru team cares about their guests with paws, too! The Capitol Subaru campus on the Parkway also includes the Outback Pet Park, fenced for everyone’s safety, and the Happy Paws Pet Shop offering boutique treats, accessories, and Subraru swag for your pup!
Capitol Subaru is also, “Committed to being a respectful corporate citizen through personal service or financial contributions,” and supports local nonprofit organizations and events like being the title sponsor Willamette Vital Health’s Walk-N-Wag. This annual event raises funds for Willamette Vital Health’s no-cost community grief care services, and our Pet Peace of Mind program that helps keep patients, families, and their pets together during hospice care.
We are paws-itively excited for Capitol Subaru to join us on Saturday, June 21st from 11am- 2pm at Minto-Brown Island Park. We hope you’ll join us for our vendor village, a group dog walk, a fashion show, and more! Day-of registration is $20. Pre-registration is $15 online at wvh.org/pets through June 18th.
