In 1998, a branch office was added in Harrisville which moved to its new location in 2022.

SUMMER HEAT WARNING

During this early summer heat wave, we know the importance of keeping hydrated; protecting your skin from overexposure to sunlight; wearing eyeglasses that protect you for UV light (such as Transition-S lenses) and never leaving your pet in your vehicle.

Remember that UV exposure is not just an issue at "high noon" but at maximum between 10 am and 4 pm.

With our recent temperatures being above 90 degrees, the inside temperature of your vehicle can exceed 130 degrees!

We wanted to remind you that at that temperature if you leave a spare pair of glasses in your vehicle you likely will damage your lenses.

I am sure everyone would agree that from a weather perspective the year 2025 has been challenging.

With that said, the new Transition Generation S lenses have performed wonderfully in this frigid weather getting dark instantaneously but when you come back inside from shoveling snow they clear up super fast.

The days of your lenses taking so long to lighten back up when you came inside is so “yesterday.”

Be sure to ask about the latest transition lens when you are next in our office.
