Does menopause affect women in the workplace? According to our Women in the Workplace Survey, the answer is a resounding “YES.”

With today marking World Menopause & Work Day, it’s more important than ever to highlight some of the key findings the survey revealed:
🔹 92% experienced at least one menopause symptom in the past year
🔹 40% of women reported menopause symptoms interfering with work performance weekly — 20% said daily
🔹 17% quit or considered quitting due to their symptoms, with 26% feeling symptoms negatively impact their career development
🔹 Over 87% reported feeling uncomfortable talking to employers due to stigma — only 12% have, and 40% of those found it unsupportive (with over 10% saying it damaged their workplace standing)
🔹 57% would value an employer who visibly supports menopause — yet 65% say their workplace offers no accommodations at all

Women aged 45–64 make up 17.5% of the U.S. workforce — that’s up to 2.9 million women at risk of leaving their jobs. This is a widespread issue that we cannot overlook.
