My approach to therapy is interactive, and our work together will be based your wants and needs. I will work closely with you to identify causes of stressors and tools to make change and build understanding. So often I see clients who are unaware of their own strengths. Guiding you to recognize and build on the strengths you possess is an essential part of my practice. I will share with you ideas,
skills, tools, and techniques to move you forward in your life. My clients often say they feel that I really care and listen, that I use humor and warmth to build relationships, am transparent in my work, and that I find individualized ways to share new ideas and techniques. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication. I have experience working with a diverse set of clients, including various cultural backgrounds and LGBT clients. I have worked with most mental health issues, particularly with clients struggling with anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, addiction, relationship issues, trauma, and adjusting to life changes.
