Join us at the center for Family and Friends Cookout on 7/31/2023!!! Grill Master Mike G will be manning the grill and food will be ready at noon! Please stay after the meal and join in the fun with activity stations! We hope to see you!!! Please RSVP with us so we ensure there is enough food for everyone to enjoy!

Today the participants got to break out of the building for a little while! We took a bus ride for a scenic tour and went up on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the back roads to come home. They had so much fun with some pretty views of nature! Even got to see a baby turkey running around!!

Ringing in Fathers Day weekend with some fun! Today, we did Doughnuts with Dads! The men enjoyed Dunkin doughnuts and some coffee! We are lucky to have so many great dads to celebrate with! 🍩☕️🧍‍♂️

Today we got to escape the 4 walls of the Care Center and go on an amazing field trip! We were able to get a personally guided tour at the Taubman Art Museum. Our participants had so much fun learning about the art and the artists! Look at all the smiling faces! 😁🎨🖌️🖼️

Today’s birthday spotlight is: Glen Woods!! He is such a huge part of our daily activities! He loves to read and discuss current events and  reminisce, what happened “back on this day!” Just don’t try to play against him in trivia! He is sharp as a tack! We enjoy seeing his smiling face first thing when we get to the center. He is truly special!

Danielle has been an LPN for 15 years! Danielle says her favorite part about working here is that she is able to have close relationships with the participants and she loves the family environment! Thank you Danielle for all you do and happy birthday!
