Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Immediate opening for Licensed Massage Therapist. Freedom Massage is a growing wellness studio located in historic Salem, MA. We recently moved to our new studio and are expanding our team. This role is part time to start and has the opportunity to grow with us!
Our goal is to build a wellness team focused on providing high quality massage treatments to our community.
Responsibilities:
Combine your skills and techniques alongside the modalities we offer to give a customized service tailored to each client.
Promote therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy through our membership program.
Build relationships with your clientele to help them meet their self-care goals
Confidently, knowledgeably educate guests about services, products and programs we offer.
Maintains supply inventory by monitoring supply levels, documenting what inventory needed, and stocking new supplies.
Provides massage and bodywork according to the required standards.
Complete all SOAP/Documentation notes in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Hold current MA license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy.
Two years experience (preferred).
Capable of performing/learning deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities.
Must obtain NPI Number within 90 days of hire date.
Strong evaluation skills to assess client needs, develop and deliver professional treatment recommendations.
Able to work flexible days and hours.
Successful completion of background check.
Maintain professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
