Dear clients:
As I’m sure is true for many of you, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the COVID-19 situation. I’ve also been waiting for guidance from national massage therapy groups about what I can/should do to keep us all safe.
Considering the imperative to employ "social distancing" in a collective attempt to blunt the continued broad spreading of the virus, and considering that the massage experience directly conflicts with that imperative, I’ve made a decision to take a hiatus from treating clients, effective today — Monday, March 16. I believe this action is best for you, for me, and for everyone else we all come in contact with.
In accordance with the statewide school closure, I plan to pause for the next two weeks. As we near the end of that time frame, I’ll reassess whether to extend further or to restart, and will update here (and to you personally, if you are already scheduled).
Please be safe, wash hands thoroughly and often, and check on those who might need help. In this challenging time, we need to all work together while keeping our distance for everyone's safety. I believe very strongly that the sacrifices we make broadly RIGHT NOW can help minimize the negative impact of the pandemic, particularly on those most vulnerable in our community. I know it is difficult to feel so cut off, but I think it will stand us in good stead when we look back at this stressful time and know we helped slow the spread.
If there's any way I can support you, please text, call, FB message, or email me. I very much look forward to seeing you again on the healthy side of this.
Thank you as always for your trust and support. 💚
In health, and with all my best wishes,
Amy
