At Brookdale Salem, we're reminded every day that love knows no age and has no limits. Today, we witnessed something truly special - two wonderful residents sharing laughter, stories, and a spark that lights up the whole room. 💕

Sometimes, the most beautiful connections are found where we least expect them. Whether it's over a game of cards, a stroll through the garden, or simply enjoying a meal together, love has a way of bringing hearts together at just the right moment. These two specifically take a walk each morning and enjoy the outside together, sitting here on this bench.

Here is to new beginnings, sweet companionship, and proof that romance can bloom at any stage of life. 💕

This morning was such a special one! We had a local news station come in to honor two incredible World War II veterans who reside at Brookdale Salem. Hearing them share their experiences, stories and the many accomplishments of their lives was truly inspiring. It was a joy to spend time with them and capture their remarkable journey.

We had an unforgettable time celebrating our July birthdays with the incredibly talented Robbie Vance on piano! His music brought the room to life - from toe-tapping classics to heartfelt melodies, every not added to the joy of the day.

Laughter, singing, and delicious slice of birthday cake made it truly special afternoon. A big THANK YOU to Robbie for sharing his gifts with us and making our celebration one to remember! 🎉 💐

🎉 🍧 What a blast we had this past Friday, July 11, celebrating National Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven! Our residents were buzzing with excitement as we headed out for our favorite frozen treat. From classic cherry to wild new flavors like Piña colada, everyone found their perfect Slurpee match!

Laughter, sticky hands, and brain freezes galore - it was more than just a trip, it was a memory in the making. 💙 Big shout out to 7-Eleven for keeping this tradition alive and brining the joy (and sugar) every summer! Until next year!

Today, our residents enjoyed the thrill of horse racing right from the comfort of our cozy fireplace room! Each resident picked their favorite horse, placed their bets, just for fun, of course, and eagerly waited to see which one would gallop to victory. ✨

The room was filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of cheering as we brought the racecourse to them for a memorable and spirited day. ❤️
