Chest pain is a medical emergency and every second counts when it comes to saving your life. Got symptoms? Call 911 immediately. Do not wait! Treatment begins the minute paramedics arrive.

When you call 911, you gain immediate access to life-saving interventions, including rapid response, pre-hospital EKGs, and timely activation of the Cath Lab when necessary.

Yesterday at the Gates Fire Hall, Cheryl Nester Wolfe, RN, MSN, President & CEO of Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics and Maggie Hudson, MBA, President & CEO of Santiam Hospital & Clinics, met with the Santiam Canyon Service Integration Team to talk more about our proposed partnership.

Meeting with local leaders and community partners as we plan for the future of health care in our region is a priority for both CEOs. SIT members shared thoughtful feedback and questions about primary and urgent care access.

It’s such a joy to connect, listen and work alongside our neighbors as we strengthen access to care across the mid-Willamette Valley while keeping care close to home.

Have questions of your own about the partnership? Upcoming public town hall meetings:
🩺 Feb. 26 | 6 p.m. | Santiam Hospital Auditorium | Stayton
📖 March 3 | 4:30 p.m. | Salem Public Library | Salem
