Travis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Inc. is dedicated to providing excellent rehabilitative services to the citizens of the surrounding communities in North Central West Virginia, promoting restoration of function and quality of life. Beginning as "Doddridge County Sports Medicine and Home Physical Therapy Services", the business was involved in treating patients in their own homes, as well as providing rehabilitation services for the Doddridge County Home Health Agency. Besides making these "House Calls", the business, which consisted of merely a physical therapist and a part time office associate, volunteered at County football games to assist the head athletic trainer. In August, 1995, the business opened the doors to a 1,600 square foot out-patient clinic in Salem, West Virginia. The name was changed to "Travis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, Incorporated". In August, 2005, Travis Physical Therapy built a new 10,000 square foot out-patient clinic in Salem, WV and introduced Bodyworx Center for Fitness and Athletic Performance. offers the best of geriatric rehabilitation and sports therapy. In addition to our out-patient physical therapy clinic, we offer health and fitness services, sports event coverage, community in-services and education and on-site job assessments. Bodyworx Center for Fitness and Athletic Performance is dedicated to promoting health and fitness to the citizens of the surrounding communities in North Central West Virginia, providing state-of-the-art strength and cardiovascular equipment.
