Much of what was lost were the principles and foundations of magic and how it actually works.

Leaving us with countless CrackerJack Witchcraft and non-functioning systems of magic made up by school kids or as they like to call themselves “baby Witches”

This workshop will attempt to revive and revisit as many of these old ways as possible in hopes The Olde Ways won’t be lost forever.

The seven celestial bodies of the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn form a base language for an enormous amount of occultism, magic, and Witchcraft. Whether you love ceremonial rites, ecstatic visionary journeys, or even practical folk magic, there is a big chance that traditional astrology has impacted what you do.

In this class we will approach the planets (and luminaries) as doors, opening wide to landscapes rich for magical pathworkings, rites, and experiences. We’ll look at who guards these doors, what the keys are for opening them, and what we may find on the other side. We will approach magic as seeing, as looking into new spaces to find realities we merge with, meld into, control, give into, and more.

Traditional astrological magic is often about journeying, ascending and descending through the "spheres" and experiencing transformation and ecstasy throughout the flight. In this class, we’ll lean into this idea of journeying, going through these seven locked doors and learning what we can do when the gates are open for us.
