Volunteer at the Hope Run August 9th!

If you would like to be involved in the Hope Run, but don't want to run or walk the course, volunteering is a great way to help out! We still have volunteer positions open - helping on the course, face painting, parking, water stations, and helping with set up.

Some of these positions would give you time to run or walk the course if you wanted - let us know if you would like to do this.

We are so thankful for the support of the Salem Foundation! We were recently awarded a grant to provide the curriculum used in our Parenting Initiative for the coming year. This funding will support our patients by helping to equip them to be prepared for parenthood and gain the skills they need to be great parents.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your family and friends to make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of women, babies, and families while having fun in the great outdoors.

We are so thankful for the generous support of the congregation at Peoples Church! Their recent donation drive will provide needed baby and maternity supplies for so many mothers in our community! Their gifts included diapers, wipes, baby clothes, handmade blankets and booties, plus so many more helpful items. What a blessing!

Diaper Bags are our June Item of the Month!

A necessity for parents, diaper bags are available for mothers to purchase in our Blessings Boutique with the baby bucks they earn through the Parenting Initiative.

If you would like to help fill this need, we accept new and gently diaper bags at the Clinic during open hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm).

You can purchase from your preferred retailer and have them shipped to us at 2630 Market St. NE, Salem OR 97301. Or, you can purchase items through our Amazon wish list or Target registry and have them shipped directly to Hope. Hope Pregnancy Clinic will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. We will be open Tuesday, May 27th at 9 am.

Hope is very grateful for the generous support of our community members! Oregon Right to Life collected over 30,000 diapers during their March for Life Diaper Drive. Makyra Williamson, Community Outreach Director at ORTL, delivered 18 boxes of diapers to Hope on Wednesday.

Meredeth Lewis, Hope's Client Services Director, thankfully received the donation, "This supply of diapers will help so many moms at the Clinic and in our Parenting Initiative. Support like this is a wonderful way to care for women and families."

Hope Pregnancy Clinic's volunteer Advocates and Mentors have the opportunity to come alongside women in their time of need.

By sitting with a patient, asking good questions, listening well, and being a calm presence in a time of possible upheaval, our volunteer Advocates help to provide the support and compassionate care for which Hope is known.

Likewise, our volunteer Mentors help provide a continuum of care by meeting with patients in the Parenting Initiative. By leading weekly mentoring sessions that involve a learning path chosen specifically for each patient, going over curriculum, and connecting to resources, our Mentors build strong relationships that make a huge positive impact in the lives of women, their babies and families.

Join us March 20th for an Informational Session to learn more about these two positions and how you may be able to make a difference by volunteering as an Advocate or Mentor.

Hope Pregnancy Clinic will be closed Monday February 17th in honor of President's Day. We will be open Tuesday the 18th at 9 am for regular hours.
