Our Item of the Month for September is Baby Clothing, sizes 0-6 months! Our supply of baby clothing is very low currently and we are in need of new and gently used clothing for boys and girls. We are especially looking for winter clothing, although we do accept clothing for all seasons.

Shop our wish list or registry or visit your favorite retailer. Donations may be dropped off at the Hope Pregnancy Clinic at 2630 Market St. NE during open hours, M-F 9 am to 5 pm.

Hope Pregnancy Clinic will be closed Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen at 9 am Tuesday morning for regular hours.

Hope is committed to helping families Raise Remarkable Readers and gifts books in many ways. A new baby board book is included in each Baby Gift Bag. Books are gifted through our Parenting Initiative and there is a free library located in the Annex building for patients (current and former) to come and find a book.

Our Item of the Month for August is new and very gently used board books. We have a great need for these - both in English and Spanish. If you would like to help fill this need, we accept new and gently used baby toys at the Clinic during open hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm).

You can purchase from your preferred retailer and have them shipped to us at 2630 Market St. NE, Salem OR 97301. You can also purchase items through our wish lists and registries and have them shipped directly to Hope. Hope Run checklist:

* Get those running/walking shoes ready
* Ask friends & family to sponsor you.....wait, what?

The Hope Run is an event that is a great way to introduce new friends to the mission of Hope Pregnancy Clinic...but it is also a fundraiser, bringing in support to provide our free, excellent services to women who are unprepared for pregnancy as well as our parenting education program and material items such as diapers, clothing, etc.

Volunteer at the Hope Run August 9th!

If you would like to be involved in the Hope Run, but don't want to run or walk the course, volunteering is a great way to help out! We still have volunteer positions open - helping on the course, face painting, parking, water stations, and helping with set up.

Some of these positions would give you time to run or walk the course if you wanted - let us know if you would like to do this.

Hope Pregnancy Clinic's volunteer Advocates and Mentors have the opportunity to come alongside women in their time of need.

By sitting with a patient, asking good questions, listening well, and being a calm presence in a time of possible upheaval, our volunteer Advocates help to provide the support and compassionate care for which Hope is known.

Likewise, our volunteer Mentors help provide a continuum of care by meeting with patients in the Parenting Initiative. By leading weekly mentoring sessions that involve a learning path chosen specifically for each patient, going over curriculum, and connecting to resources, our Mentors build strong relationships that make a huge positive impact in the lives of women, their babies and families.

Join us March 20th for an Informational Session to learn more about these two positions and how you may be able to make a difference by volunteering as an Advocate or Mentor.
