Scribner Family Practice Clinic, located in Salem, Arkansas, opened Wednesday, October 1, 2014. The clinic is located at 115 Turner Lane and is the practice of John Heath Scribner, M.D. A native of Salem, Dr. Scribner is a family medicine physician. He is a graduate of University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He complete
d a family medicine residency at the UAMS Area Health Education Center – Northeast in Jonesboro. When not in the office, Dr. Scribner enjoys audio books, running, gardening, hunting and camping with his wife and four children. Dr. Scribner is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Arkansas Medical Society. He currently holds an appointed position with the Arkansas State Medical Board for a second term. Carson York, our certified physician assistant, is also a native of Salem. He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, running, farming and reading. Carson York is a nationally board certified physician assistant and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants.
