Our Story

Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital is a critical access care facility with a 24/7 emergency department, and a variety of medical specialists provides all levels of care from minor to multi-system care.

We are part of the Indiana Heart Attack Network which includes the expertise of the Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center physicians. A Cardiac Clinic and cardiac rehab is onsite. The Surgical team represents general surgery, endoscopic and orthopedic expertise. Our orthopedic program for joint replacement provides pre-op education classes and a strong rehabilitative program. If needed, skilled rehab care is also onsite.
