So often when people start a new job, the focus is to pass trial service. BAD thing is, places of employment forgot that they too need to pass trial service.
To decrease turnover, absenteeism, losses, safety issues, ETC, and increase productivity, loyalty, efficiency, ETC, you must BE the place to work.
Excellent leadership will decrease toxicity in the workplace, increasing quality team dynamics, employee satisfaction, and this increases customer satisfaction and the bottom line (profits and other positive outcomes).
On boarding! What's your hiring criteria? How are you recruiting? Who are you recruiting? How well are you training new hires? How well are you maintaining training for people? How's the accountability for your staff and leadership? Are you holding people accountable? Are you paying attention? How are you involved?

Pro tip: if you are starting a new business (organization, team, group) or revamping an existing one, it's wise to deeply educate yourself on leadership and team dynamics and or hire a professional to review your company and help you with: policies, expectations, designing and implementing your workplace culture, leadership model, vision, mission and goals.
Pro tip/s: value your employees. Invest in your employees. Invest in your leadership. Listen to your staff. Set clear roles, expectations, policies and hold people accountable. Follow through. And, celebrate your employees! Recognize their achievements, contributions, dedication, and hard work. (Were not just talking about emails, stickers and water bottles).
