Licensed and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

As a middle-aged woman, I am just like many of you. Where most major milestones are in the past and we have time to reassess our purpose and desires. We can’t go back in time (or hold onto the past) so we must learn to accept our bodies and focus on aging gracefully through developing our confidence and joy. My goal here is to normalize and celebrat

e the middle aged woman by sharing simple and fun ways to implement evidence-based information that will help us achieve happiness and optimal health, both mentally and physically.

A Witchy Woman

My name is Erica Klag. I'm a Licensed and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN, RDN) living in one of the coolest places on earth, historic Salem, Massachusetts. While I used the city's trademark to create the name of this page, I do not practice traditional witchcraft, or witchcraft of any kind. I do, however, love to cook and create new and exciting flavor experiences, so in a way, I am a witch?

I’ve been a RDN for the past 7 years. After completing my degree in Health Services - Nutrition from Keene State college in 2009, I went on to complete a dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2011. This, in combination with my first degree in Social Work from Regis College in 2003, has allowed me to combine my love of helping people with a more narrow focus - food.

In my opinion, food is life. I love food. I love eating food, cooking food, learning about foods and how they get in front of me. From farming, cooking, and the nourishment it provides the human body - It’s all so fascinating. However, if there’s one thing I have learned over the past years it’s that I know very little in the whole scheme of food and life. I mean, I know more than the average person but there is so much more to know and we can take the journey together to create the change you wish to see for yourself.

I am married with two young boys and a rottweiler named, Princess Leia. Aside from work and family, I enjoy being active (when I can find the time!) and being creative in the arts. I especially love the beach and warm sunny days!
