Today's a great day to start learning Taiji or Qigong as we will be restarting the Taiji form and beginning a new Qigong form.

Taiji will be the regular 24 Stance Yang form. This is the third time we've restarted the form, so if the timing isn't perfect, we should have time for two more restarts before the end of the year.

In Qigong we will begin learning the Yi Jin Jing and transition directly into the Xi Sui Jing as the two forms are very complimentary to each other and often taught together.

Membership includes unlimited classes, so many of our members take both. Reach out if you have any questions. Qigong is at 10:30 and Taiji is at 12:00, both every Sunday.

Just a quick FYI for those who watch the scanners here in Salem.

The reported house fire on D Street across from Parish Middle School was thankfully not us. As there are only two houses across from Parish on D we rushed down as soon as we got word.

We arrived in time to see a couple firetrucks pulling away. It seemed to be small and was contained by the time we arrived. No sign of any spread across the alley to our clinic.

Many of the old tutorial videos have already been re-recorded and are available on our website but if there were any that you found useful that you cannot find elsewhere, please reach out and we will direct you to where you can find them or re-record them and share them here.

Join us today for our first Community Acupuncture clinic at Stone Guardian! Community Acupuncture is a setting where you receive Acupuncture alongside others in the same space. While it is not suited to Orthopedic Acupuncture, it is a lower cost option that many prefer to a private room.

This style really goes back to the roots of Stone Guardian. Our first clinics were pop up Community Acupuncture clinics. We would set these up at community centers and granges around rural Oregon. Once we established our brick and mortar clinic here in Salem, we found it harder and harder to get out to these rural areas. So today we start bringing the setting into the city.

Every Monday from 10:30 to 1:30 we will convert our Community Room into a Community Acupuncture clinic. We have three chairs available, one can be booked in advance and the other two are available for drop ins. I'll provide a link in the comments where you can learn more.
