This group offers a supportive space for those grieving a recent loss or navigating anticipatory grief while caring for a loved one.

We welcome you to attend our upcoming grief meetings happening throughout August, October, and November 2025, with both morning and afternoon sessions available. 💜

With hearts full of love and wings of remembrance, our Seva Hospice team, Sarah, Account Executive, Chuck, Spiritual Care Counselor/Chaplain, and Lisa from Legacy Home Care Services, hosted a beautiful butterfly release ceremony at English Oaks. 🦋

Each butterfly took flight in loving memory of a life cherished and never forgotten. The event offered residents and families a peaceful space for reflection, healing, and connection. 💜🤍

Today, on National Flag Day, we honor the enduring symbol of our nation, the "Stars and Stripes." 🇺🇸

On June 14, 1777, during the hardships of the Revolutionary War, the Continental Congress adopted the American flag as a sign of unity and hope. Since that day, our flag has flown proudly, representing the strength, resilience, and shared values of the American people. 💜

Seva Hospice, CareOne Home Health, and Legacy Home Care Services were proud to participate in this uplifting community event hosted by the Stanislaus Senior Foundation and the Gladys L. Lemmons Senior Center.

We loved connecting with local seniors, sharing valuable resources, and celebrating healthy aging. From cheerful giveaways to meaningful conversations, the room was full of compassion, support, and smiles.

The Philosophy of Seva

The word "Seva" is a Sanskrit word meaning service. However, it is more than just a simple desire to help others, "Seva” is actually composed of two words, “saha,” which means “with that,” and “eva,” which means “too.” Taken as a whole, the word “seva” means “together with” and describes the actions that seek collective uplifting through understanding the needs of others and are based on togetherness and integration. It is an expression of compassion for others and a genuine desire to help those around you.

Our mission statement and corporate philosophy is derived from this concept of Seva.
