The response to our $25 flat rate computer repair offer has been amazing and the bench is getting full. With school closures and people working from home we have decided to continue the offer as long as we can, or until they shut us down. Virus and malware removal, performance tune up included for just $25. We will be working through the weekend and into the night if needed to get your machine cleaned up and back to you as quickly as possible. As I begin my third year of being a member of the Salida business community I am feeling, more than anything else, a sense of gratitude. Business to me has always been about service to the customer and community and over the past few days I have been asking myself what is the best way to use my resources and skills to help people in need at this time.

With schools closed and people being encouraged to stay home I would like to help make computers available to those that need them, or need an extra one around the house for education, information, and entertainment. Salida Business Hub is soliciting the donation of any computer you may have lying around that you are no longer needing or using. This includes computers that are no longer working as we can mix and match parts to refurbish them. We will wipe the data from all hard drives, restore them to working condition and make them available to people in need at no charge.

We will be open for donations during our normal business hours of 9:30 - 5:00 M-F. I will make a drop-off box available as well. Please, no non-functioning monitors as we cannot repair those and no-printers without checking with us first. If you have the ability please wipe down your donated equipment with a disinfectant before bringing it in, and if you can't please let us know. We will be disinfecting everything again before it goes to it's new home.

Additionally, if you are being economically impacted by the current situation we are offering flat rate computer repair of just $25 for those that need to get their computer operating again. This includes scanning for and removal of viruses and malware as well as resolving performance issues that are software related. If you are not able to pay at this time please let us know and we will work out a deferred payment arrangement.

Relax in our comfortable showroom as long as you like. We'll keep the coffee and snacks flowing and can even provide loaner computers for those in need. We are also looking for volunteers who can be here after hours so we can accommodate as many people as possible.
