Our Scooby Gang caught the bad guy! Ghosty face was terrorizing New Horizon today, even snatching some casualties in the process, but teamwork brought their run to an end! Unmasking the ghoul, we found Staff Taysia underneath!

Starting today, we’re collecting food donations to support our clients impacted by the EBT/SNAP shortage this November. Every item helps make a difference!

Here are some suggested items our clients regularly use throughout the month — non-perishable foods are especially appreciated.

Note: Freezer space is limited, so frozen items (like meats) will be accepted as space allows.

Our food drive runs all month long, and we’ll continue monitoring the situation to ensure our clients get the support they need.

As you may have heard the news, SNAP/EBT benefits will not be distributed for the month of November and a timeline of distribution has not been announced yet due to the government shutdown. This is going to affect millions of Americans, including many of our wonderful clients.

In an effort to help offset the major impact and ensure a healthy diet is accessible, we will be hosting a Pack The Pantry food drive. Starting October 28th, we will be accepting food donations accessible by those impacted by the loss of their EBT benefits.

Any non-expired, labeled and packaged food item is welcome and appreciated. Please bring donated items to our Salina location at 1813 S Ohio St during business hours. To schedule an outside drop off time, or any questions, please call us at (785)833-6540.

We thank the community for its generosity during this giving season! Your support makes all the difference in someone’s life.
