Welcome to Salina Movement Therapy where we specialize in injury prevention and the relief of chronic pain. Owner Kate Knedlik, brings a unique approach to healing the body by incorporating multiple techniques in one session. We strive to help athletes and active individuals move pain-free, recover faster, and stay in the game without relying on quick fixes or endless rest. Our work blends therapeutic massage, Neural Reset Therapy, corrective exercise, and biomechanics - based movement strategies to address the root cause of pain - not just the symptoms. Instead of chasing tight muscles, we assess how the nervous system, movement patterns, and load management all interact, then create customized sessions and plans that restore range of motion, improve performance, and reduce recurring injuries. We work with youth athletes, gym-goers, runners, and weekend warriors who are dealing with tightness, overuse injuries, limited mobility, or chronic pain and want long-term results they can feel in daily life and training. Kate's role is part bodyworker, part movement coach, and part educator - helping clients understand their bodies so they can move with confidence, resilience, and longevity. The core of our business is individualized care, empathy, and sustainable health, with the goal of building a community of athletes who prioritize movement quality, recovery, and lifelong performance.
