🐰🌸 Bunny Bait Easter Snack Mix 🌸🐰
Ingredients:
4 cups rice cereal squares (such as Chex-style cereal)
2 cups mini pretzels
1 cup pastel M&M’s
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or white candy melts
½ cup salted peanuts (optional, for extra crunch)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Easter sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare the Mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice cereal, mini pretzels, pastel M&M’s, mini marshmallows, and peanuts if using. Gently toss to distribute evenly.
Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract if using.
Coat the Snack Mix: Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture. Gently fold with a spatula until everything is evenly coated. Work quickly to prevent the chocolate from setting too soon.
Add Festive Touches: Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with Easter sprinkles for a colorful finish.
Let It Set: Allow the snack mix to sit at room temperature for about 20–30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.
Break & Serve: Once set, break into bite-sized clusters and serve in festive bowls or gift bags.
