Happy OT Month to our incredible Occupational Therapy team! 💙

At Accessible Home Care, our Occupational Therapists (OTs) play a vital role in helping patients stay safe, independent, and confident in their own homes.

In home health, OTs:
• Help you safely perform daily activities like bathing, dressing, and cooking
• Recommend home modifications and adaptive equipment to prevent falls
• Improve strength, coordination, and balance for everyday tasks
• Provide strategies to manage energy and conserve effort
• Support recovery after illness, injury, or surgery
• Work with caregivers to ensure the best possible care at home

Their goal is simple but powerful: to help you live as independently and successfully as possible in your own environment.

What an incredible day at the Senior Health Fair at the Junction City Senior Center! We were thrilled to host 20 amazing vendors and see such a strong turnout from our community.

Our mission for this annual event is to bring together local resources that support our aging citizens—offering guidance, connection, and services that help them continue to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

We are currently looking for local health and community vendors to participate in the Geary County Health Fair on Wednesday, April 8 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Geary County Senior Center.
This event is a great opportunity to connect with community members, share information about your services, and support the health and wellness of Geary County residents.

✅ Vendor Details:
• Location: Geary County Senior Center
• Vendor setup begins at 12:00 PM
• Vendors should be ready by 12:45 PM
• Vendor fee: One $25 raffle item to be given away at the end of the event
• Please bring a raffle box and tickets for attendees to sign up.
During the event, vendors will have the opportunity to share how their organization supports the health and well-being of our community.
