Our residents kicked off the day with strength and sunshine! ☀️ They followed along with a Paul Eugene wheelchair workout video—using their own homemade rice water bottle weights! 🏋️‍♀️💧

We also enjoyed the beautiful 70° weather, soaking up the sun, listening to the birds sing, and watching airplanes overhead. ✈️🐦

🎶 We had another great visit from Eli — we’re so thankful for his monthly music sessions that always lift our spirits!
☀️ With temps near 100°, we brought our fresh air fun inside and cooled off with some refreshing popsicles!
💪 And of course, we got our hearts pumping with a round of wheelchair cardio!

From music to movement (and a little frozen treat in between), we’re making every day count. 💛

🎶 Healing Harmonies with Good Shepherd Hospice 🎶

We’re always grateful when Eric from Good Shepherd Hospice Wichita/Newton/Wellington/Salina stops by to share his musical talents with our residents — and this visit was extra special! 🧡

Not only did Eric fill the room with beautiful melodies, but our very own Assistant Director of Nursing, Ashley, joined in on the drums! 🥁🎵

Music has a way of uplifting the soul and connecting hearts — and today was no exception. Thank you, Eric, for another wonderful visit, and thank you, Ashley, for bringing the rhythm!
