June 6th was National Donut Day, and our residents enjoyed a sweet afternoon treat! We served up fresh ‘donuts’—really just fried biscuit dough—but they were warm, crispy, and absolutely delicious with a cup of coffee.

This month’s theme is “Flip Flop into Summer,” and our ladies kicked it off by making edible flip flops! A few were eaten along the way, but even more were made—with lots of laughter and creativity!

Through the We Honor Veterans Program with Gentiva Hospice, we had the privilege of recognizing Dan, a proud World War II veteran. 🇺🇸 He received a certificate, a pin, and a flag in honor of his service. Thank you, Dan, for your bravery and sacrifice.

On May 1st, the Salina Dillon's floral staff came to Eaglecrest to help residents make May baskets. Dillons furnished all the beautiful fresh flowers. A huge thank you goes out to Dillons Floral for making the residents feel extra special!
