It's vacation time for Dr. Jeff and Dr. Maria-they will be out of the office this Friday, the 16th, and next Monday, the 19th. 🌅

The answer to yesterday's trivia question is C! The typical cervical x-ray series includes three views: an AP or front view, a lateral or side view, and and open mouth front (AP) view. 🩻

Why the open mouth? Opening the mouth and tilting the head up allows the doctor to visualize the top two cervical vertebrae which would otherwise be obscured by the front teeth. 😬
