Salina Regional Surgical Associates welcomes our new general surgeon, Dr. Megan Welborn! Dr. Welborn performs a comprehensive range of procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery for gallbladder, colorectal, and hernia conditions. Her expertise includes diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, as well as breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery. We’re proud to have Dr. Welborn joining Drs. Gray, Klaassen and Speaks in providing exceptional surgical care for our patients!

Salina Regional Surgical Associates would like to recognize and thank all who have served in our U.S. Armed Forces this Veterans Day.

We are deeply grateful for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our nation.

We are especially proud to honor the veterans who are part of our Salina Regional family. Many of you continue your service in a new way, caring for patients, supporting our community, and strengthening the lives of others here in north central Kansas.

The American flag carries many meanings; honor, sacrifice, unity, and freedom. In this video, a few of our own veterans share what the flag means to them.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, affecting 1 in 8 women in the U.S. during their lifetime. Rates have been rising, especially among younger women.

➡️ The best defense is early detection. Regular screenings should begin at age 40, or earlier if you’re at higher risk.

This month, and every month, let’s raise awareness, encourage screenings, and support those affected by breast cancer. 💕
