If you’ve ever called or checked in at our PT department, chances are you’ve been greeted by Hayley, our friendly, compassionate, and quick-witted Physical Therapy Receptionist who’s been part of the Salina Ortho family for the past 2 years.

Hayley is the kind of person who brings warmth and ease to even the busiest days. Her favorite part of the job? Helping patients get in as soon as possible, and sharing laughs with her PT team along the way.

Outside of work, Hayley enjoys decorating for birthdays and special occasions, spending time with friends, and starting her mornings with a strong cup of coffee. Fun fact: she once jumped off a 40-foot waterfall in Hawaii… and says she definitely won’t be doing that again!

Hayley brings light, laughter, and a whole lot of heart to our team, and we’re so thankful to have her. 💙💚

We are incredibly proud to see Dr. Levi Kindel recognized in the latest American College of Surgeons Brief for his expertise in robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery. Patient Spotlight: Meet Ken

If you’ve been to the Colby Event Center, there’s a good chance you’ve encountered Ken. He is responsible for the maintenance and janitorial services there, and he takes pride in keeping the facility running smoothly. But his knees had become so painful that walking was hard, and he wasn’t sure if he could keep working. Fortunately, he could get the care he needed right here in Colby.

This year, Ken had both knees replaced at Citizens Health as part of our partnership with Salina Ortho. One surgery was in January and the other in April. After surgery, he worked closely with Derick in therapy, focusing on rebuilding his strength, balance, and mobility.

Thanks to that hard work, Ken is now back to work full time and walking without pain.

We are proud to help people like Ken recover and return to the life they love, with quality care close to home.
