Attention High School Students! 🚨🚨🚨

The STEPS program summer meeting schedule is now available in Salinas, Seaside, Soledad, and King City. The Safe Teens Empowerment Project (STEPS) offers high school students community service opportunities and job prospects while educating them on the risks of teen substance use.

STEPS program volunteers engage in workshops, work on fun projects, and gain experience to enhance college/job applications and résumés. Whether you’re looking to make a positive impact in your community or seeking to develop valuable skills for your future, the Safe Teens Empowerment Project is the perfect program to get started.

We are truly thankful to everyone who joined us yesterday for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebrating the construction completion of the Huntington Recovery Center in Salinas. This marks the beginning of a wonderful initiative that will provide support to men, women, and youth in our communities. ☀️✨

During the event, guests had the chance to explore the new center and meet the dedicated team behind this project. A few heartfelt words were shared during the ceremony, reminding us all why we are committed to our mission. Together, we are making a lasting impact, transforming lives and strengthening our community for generations to come. ❤️‍🩹💪🏼

A special ‘Thank You’ goes out to Lou and Roberta Huntington and all the generous donors whose contributions made the Huntington Recovery Center a reality—not just for us, but for the community and the families eager to rebuild their lives!

☀️ Today, we celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Open House for our new Prevention Office in City of Soledad - Government . The event was attended by community leaders, local residents, and community partners - thank you to all for joining us! Attendees had the opportunity to tour the new facility, which has welcoming spaces that encourage learning and collaboration.

The new Prevention office in Soledad provides a range of prevention and educational services designed for youth and families. The Prevention team is committed to fostering healthy and safe communities by raising awareness and encouraging actions to address community health issues related to drug and alcohol use.

Join us for the official ribbon cutting of our brand-new Huntington Recovery Center, a vital new facility built to support the health and recovery of our community. ❤️‍🩹

In just one year, Avila Construction Company and Wald Ruhnke & Dost Architects brought this vision to life—an 8,000 square foot center offering Outpatient Substance Use Disorder treatment for both teens and adults, as well as temporary sober living apartments for adults in early recovery.

Come celebrate this milestone with us as we open the doors to a brighter future for those on the path to recovery. Enjoy light refreshments, tours of the facility, and the chance to meet the dedicated team behind this incredible project. ☀️✨

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration’s National Survey on Drug Use and Health it was reported that in 2021 1.7 million Americans ages 12+ used kratom.
