My agenda was to prepare the Life Enrichment room for fall and begin working on the October Event Calendar. But sometimes the most meaningful moments aren’t planned. A lovely resident asked to help fold the freshly laundered linens. It was a beautiful reminder that having a sense of purpose is just as important as scheduled activities. We are so excited to introduce our new Director of Nursing, Alexis! She comes to us with years of nursing experience, most recently in the fast-paced world of the emergency department as a LPN. What really makes her shine is her heart—she cares deeply about our residents, their safety, and leading with compassion every step of the way.

When she’s not at work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her children and her supportive partner. Family is at the center of her life, and we know she’ll bring that same warmth and dedication into our community.
