Two months ago to this day, I came to a fork in the road and made a decision to leave my full-time corporate job. I enjoyed the members of the corporate fitness center I managed as well as some of my colleagues, but the corporate environment was not my cup of tea, and frankly, I felt like it was sucking the life out of me. My options were to quit my part-time yoga teaching and stay in my full-time job; or quit my full-time job and hope that something worked out for me. And so I listened to my heart and my gut. A few days later, I was approached by my yoga studio owner to take on these new roles. The universe and my angels definitely had my back.
My life for the last couple of months has been infinitely more peaceful and health issues that were creeping up on me seem to have resolved themselves.  I am officially through all of the training and transition period, and today is my first day in all of my new roles. Sometimes taking a chance and rolling the dice is well worth it!
When I was a little girl, before I knew that yoga was, my dream was always to teach dance and run a dance studio. This is the manifestation of that dream—and better. See comments for my schedule amd come practice with me!
